Here are some basic tips to troubleshoot Accruer!

Journal entry amount(s) appear inaccurate

Is QuickBooks locked? Is Accruer locked via the Record Entries From setting?

Accruer will not post to locked periods, and will instead true up the balance in the first unlocked period.

Check how you wrote "for the period":

Sometimes, users write "For the period January 2023 to January 2024" which is technically 13 months although they mean one year.
Sometimes, users write "For the period of 7/1/2024 to 10/1/2024" which is technically 3 months and 1 day, not 4 months.
Is there a typo? Was a month spelling incorrectly?

Review your Workflow Method settings in Advanced, or if using Fixed Asset workflows check the Partial Months setting to see check Accruer's calculation settings.

Journal entries are not automatically posting

Is QuickBooks locked? Is Accruer locked via the Record Entries From setting?

Accruer will not post to locked periods, and will instead true up the balance in the first unlocked period.

In Workflow settings, check that Frequency is set to Auto, and not Hold.

For REV or EXPS workflows, check that:

A valid Service Period Tag is used (i.e. you wrote "for the period" correctly)
"For the period" is written on a line that is booked to the P&L, not to the Balance Sheet.

I want to undo something

For Revenue or Expenses Workflows, simply remove the "For the period of.." from the Line Description

For Fixed Assets, change the account of the entry, expense, bill, etc. to a different account.
