1️⃣ For Revenue or Expenses, did you book activity directly to the P&L account(s)?
Accruer uses a reversal method. The journal line with "for the period" must be booked to a P&L account for REV or EXPS Workflows.

2️⃣ Did you write "for the period" correctly?
Check for the following:
• you wrote "for the period" and not something else
• you only have one or two dates in the description (you cannot have more)
• you specified a month and year for each date

3️⃣ Is QuickBooks locked for any periods covered by the accrual? Is Accruer locked (e.g. check your Workflow Close Date setting)?
Accruer will not post to a locked period and will instead post a true-up in the first open period. A good way to tell is if you see "Catches up & recognizes.." in the description of the entry that you think is "off." That means something is locked!

4️⃣ Is the Workflow in the middle of running?
Accruer is magic and only takes a few seconds on average, but every once and awhile it can take a few minutes if there is traffic on our digital highway. Login and check to see if the Workflow is running still!

5️⃣ Is the Workflow set to Hold?
Accruer must be set to Auto to run automatically.
