Data Source & Data Source Tabs

🔑 Relevant for Booker & Wrangler

• Data Source is the Google Sheet where the Data Source Tab(s) is housed.

• Data Source Tab is the tab within the Data Source where data is housed.

Creating Data Source Google Sheets

• When you create your first Workflow, you will create your first Data Source.

• As you setup additional Workflows, you can select the same, or create new Data Sources.

• FinOptimal must create the Google Sheet as part of this process.

• You cannot select existing sheets not created by FinOptimal, but you can migrate tabs from your existing sheets into Google Sheets.

Overlap / Using multiple tabs in one Data Source

• You can have multiple Data Source Tabs in the same Data Source.

• You can have both Wrangler and Booker Workflows connected to the same Data Source, so you can pull and push data.

• You cannot have two Workflows using the same Data Source Tab at once.

Google Sheet Ownership

• The Google Sheets are created within your Google Drive. You own the sheets.

• FinOptimal can access the sheets for troubleshooting and support. You are notified when a Customer Success representative obtains temporary access to your sheet, and when it is released.
