Leaving or Transferring FinOptimal Accounts

Transfer Accruer to another Firm

  1. Instruct other Firm to sign up for FinOptimal if they have not already

  2. Disconnect QuickBooks within FinOptimal

  3. Remove subscription for that client

  4. Email CustomerSuccess@finoptimal.com requesting transfer to the new Firm, with the new Firm CC'd. Please specify the transfer date.

Transfer Accruer to your client

  1. Invite your client as a Client User. Do this by navigating to their FinOptimal portal (where you control their app settings) and clicking the Client Users tab.

  2. Disconnect QuickBooks within FinOptimal.

  3. Remove subscription for that client.

  4. Email CustomerSuccess@finoptimal.com requesting transfer to the client, with the client CC'd.

Leaving Accruer

FinOptimal does not automatically delete entries when you cancel, but we do recommend removing future journal entries to avoid confusion. Once disconnected, Accruer will no longer update entries in QuickBooks.
