How does Accruer know which workflow the track is associated with?

Accruer links tracks to workflows based on the general ledger account type. For example, a service period tag entered on a transaction recorded to an Income account is automatically associated with the revenue workflows.

What accounts are impacted by Accruer journal entries?

By default, Accruer will automatically create new general ledger accounts in QuickBooks to keep the automated entries separate from any manual activity you've booked. This helps keep things clean and is our recommended setting.

How many journal entries will Accruer book when its run?

Once a workflow is run, Accruer will automatically record journal entries for each month between the Open From and Closed After dates. By default, this covers a three month period starting with the current month.
